The value of comics

Q: "Consider the value of comics..."

Yes, I agree with Leonard that comics can be useful (recall Leonard: "... I see Pak Nian nodding his head vigorously..." *audience laughs*). So here's the product of me putting that into practice by drawing a cartoon:

Please forgive my mediocrity in drawing. I type and write, but don't usually draw. ***This cartoon officially refers to two different people.***

Now I feel like some cartoonist who's out to fuel a controversy! Or perhaps not. Let's start your inferences rolling!

On the other hand, this reminds me of Sin Yee's GP assignment in which she had to dig into the depths of a word (she chose "promiscuous"). So here's my informal take, on "ogle".

LOL! *laughs till i fall onto the floor*

The drawing is interesting. or to say, the comic. hehs!

content wise: Good! =D [other comments shall be self-censored.]

Drawing wise, Girl: The gal is like, damn greedy and cheeky looking. her eyes!!! like got good stuff kind of look. then her tongue makes her look cheeky. i just love the gal's eyes! CUTE~!! she does have interesting "female" signs too.

Drawing wise, Guy: Interesting too. one square head, one round head. haha. square reminds me slightly of spongebox squarepants. and he has a very interesting hairstyle too. can send to Gasby for advert hairstyle. the other guy looks quite normal.

Meaning wise: I like the sentence, though i think it could have been more juicy!

oh yeah, the way you drew ur name on the figures made me think u were drawing urself till i saw 2006 and saluton on the girl. hahaha.

Haha. hope to see more comics then!

Haha.

Yallor, so cute!

The idea of integrating the names was from those comics published in the newspaper, I think.

Hmm. Come to think of it, this isn't a comic! It's a cartoon!

Interesting Cartoon u've there!
*Didnt really want to leave a comment =X but since the potato ask me: "got leave comment not?" then i felt, oh well.. let's do it ba. hahax

nice interpretation u have there, and expression too. but the girl look like she's thinking instead of oogling.. hmm.. thinking of who to oogle at? or emphasizing the fact tt it's with intentions? hmm..

good attempt!

the girl's signs are strategically positioned i must say. first look at the pic, u were in tt bubble.. muahaha..

about it being more juicy? i disagree.. this is enough to trigger some bad thinking le.

keep it up! wave ur pen~

Yup, it's more like thinking.

I wanted some feast by the sea (read: beach) but I'd have to draw full people and that wouldn't turn out to be that nice.

Haha.
